A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Pharmacy Technician OR Licensed Trainee in Pennsylvania. The Pharmacy Technician would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Pharmacy Technician Compensation

The pay for this position is up to $20.00 per hour for experienced candidates.

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

  • The required availability for this position is Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.
  • Occasional weekends may be required, with hours adjusted as needed.
  • Pharmacy Technician License OR Trainee is required in the state of Pennsylvania.

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and on-hand quantities throughout the pharmacy, stockroom, and overstock locations.
  • Receive, count, order, and process pharmacy inventory.
  • Maintain inventory records and ensure products are properly received and posted in inventory systems.
  • Validate adherence to inventory processes and assist with maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Coordinate inventory activities with the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), Site Director, and senior leadership.
  • Train and educate team members on inventory management, ordering, receiving, and related processes.
  • Ensure inter-store orders are processed accurately and timely.
  • Properly scan and receive deliveries and resolve discrepancies between physical products and system records.
  • Contact vendors regarding past-due or undelivered shipments and open support tickets when necessary.
  • Process vendor returns, non-controlled returns, damaged/salvage returns, recalls, and excess inventory returns.
  • Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate on-hand quantities.
  • Ensure designated pull and quarantine items are properly updated and stored.
  • Support pharmacy ordering and monitor manual orders for excess inventory.
  • Maintain consigned inventory and consumables to ensure product availability.
  • Complete On-Shelf Availability (OSA) processes.
  • Execute disposals, call-ins, and vendor returns before product expiration.
  • Organize and retain invoices, receipts, return authorizations, and other inventory documentation.
  • Assist with preparation for physical inventory and audit third-party inventory teams during physical inventory activities.
  • Ensure inventory practices comply with applicable state and local laws regarding regulated products.

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Pharmacy Technician License OR licensed trainee required in Pennsylvania
  • 1-2 years of relevant inventory or pharmacy experience
  • Basic computer and inventory system skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to accurately manage inventory records, orders, and documentation
  • Ability to train and support team members on inventory processes
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days of employment

Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with pharmacy inventory management
  • Experience with pharmacy inventory systems and applications
  • Experience with receiving, ordering, returns, recalls, and physical inventory processes
  • Knowledge of pharmacy inventory compliance and regulated products
