The Experienced Mechanic will service a mixed fleet in an independent repair shop, performing routine and advanced diagnostics, planning repairs, and completing a broad range of mechanical, electrical, and preventive maintenance services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle diagnostics across a mixed fleet.
  • Plan and execute mechanical repairs.
  • Complete preventive maintenance services.
  • Repair and service engines.
  • Perform brake system inspections and repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems.
  • Complete tire repairs and tire swaps.
  • Conduct routine and advanced troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications

  • Automotive diagnostics experience.
  • Engine repair expertise.
  • Knowledge of brake systems.
  • Electrical diagnostics experience.
  • Preventive maintenance experience.
  • Automotive Service Excellence certification or experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Commitment to safety compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five or more years of automotive repair experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
