We are seeking a Machinistto join our team! You will operate a variety of machines and tools to repair/make new electric motor parts and other various mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
• Repair electric motor parts
• • Bore and Bush bearing housings
  • Shaft Repair
  • Turn and undercut commutators
  • Etc.
• Mechanical Repair of housings, shafts, etc.
• Modify/Repair parts
• Machine new parts
• • Shafts
  • Retainers
  • Etc
• Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
• Misc welding

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
• Familiarity of machine tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail

Matlock Electric Machine Shop Overview:

• (2) CNC lathes
• (2) CNC Milling machines
• Hydraulic Presses
• Drill presses
• Band Saws
• Armature Undercutter
• Manual Lathes
