Job Description

We are seeking reliable, hard-working Assembly Associates to join a fast-paced commercial packaging facility in Chesterfield, MI. In this role, you will work hands-on assembling industrial packaging materials using basic power and hand tools.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position offering steady year-round hours, weekly pay, and substantial overtime opportunities to maximize your earning potential. Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply-paid on-the-job training is provided!

Shift Options & Pay Rates

• 1st Shift: $16.00 / hour Monday - Friday (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)

  • Note: End times may extend up to 6:30 PM during high-volume periods.

• 2nd Shift: $17.00 / hour Monday - Friday (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)

  • Note: Mandatory overtime as needed based on customer demands.

Overtime Expectations:

• 12-hour shifts during peak production demands.

• Mandatory Saturday shifts (when scheduled): 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble large industrial cardboard boxes and commercial packaging products.

• Safely operate glue guns, staple guns, and hand tools to secure materials.

• Fold, stack, bundle, and stage packaging materials for shipment.

• Perform quality checks on completed items to ensure company standards are met.

• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines.

• Maintain steady production flow to achieve daily output targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Physical Capability: Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout a shift.

• Tool Proficiency: Comfortable operating basic assembly tools (glue/staple guns).

• Dependability: Excellent attendance, punctuality, and commitment to working assigned overtime.

• Experience: Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or assembly experience is a plus, but not required.
