We pride ourselves on honest work, quality repairs, and getting our customers' trucks back on the road.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic with hands-on Cummins engine experience to join our team.

This is not an entry-level diesel mechanic position. Prior hands-on experience working on Cummins heavy-duty diesel engines is required.

We are specifically looking for someone familiar with Cummins ISX, ISX15, X15, and similar heavy-duty Cummins platforms who is comfortable performing engine-related repairs as well as general heavy-duty truck work.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with brakes, clutches, transmissions, engine swaps, diagnostics, and major mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair Cummins heavy-duty diesel engines
  • Perform engine repairs, engine swaps, and major engine-related work
  • Diagnose mechanical engine issues and determine appropriate repairs
  • Perform repairs on brakes, clutches, transmissions, and other heavy-duty truck systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections
  • Follow repair procedures and specifications accurately
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
  • Hands-on Cummins diesel engine experience REQUIRED
  • Experience with ISX, ISX15, X15, or similar Cummins heavy-duty engines strongly preferred
  • Previous heavy-duty truck repair experience
  • Experience with major engine repairs and/or engine overhauls preferred
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of brakes, clutches, transmissions, and drivetrain components
  • Must be comfortable performing more than routine maintenance
  • Must be able to work independently on assigned repairs
  • Own tools preferred; specialty/shop tools provided as needed
  • CDL is not required but is a plus
What We Offer
  • Competitive pay based on experience and skill level
  • Steady, year-round work
  • Established family-owned repair shop
  • Opportunity to work extensively with Cummins engines
  • Supportive team environment
  • Opportunity to grow with the company
PLEASE NOTE We are specifically hiring for Cummins engine experience. If your background is primarily automotive, equipment, aviation, or general mechanical work without hands-on heavy-duty Cummins engine experience, this position may not be the right fit. However, if you have experience with other heavy duty engines but can do jobs like clutches, transmissions, engine swaps, turbos, manifolds, brakes - still apply!
