Cad Cam CNC department supervisor

This is a full-time position with at least 40 hours per week. Candidate will be responsible for improving the efficiency and throughput of the CNC department. The improvements we are looking for are;

-Reducing the time needed to go from a new job print to a finished piece.

-Regain control of the integrity of the CNC programs.

-Organize workstations, tooling storage, tools and fixtures so that set-up times will be reduced.

Skills:

Proficiency with the latest Mastercam version

Familiarity with SolidWorks-including part modifications, import/exporting files

Blueprint reading - basic understanding of tolerancing and GD & T

Ability to read and repair g-code

Familiarity with 3-axis milling and 2-axis turning

Ability to work with others

Ability to teach and train machine operators when needed

Self-motivated individual, strong attention to detail

Willingness to adapt to new technologies
