We are seeking a CNC Machinist to perform CNC vertical mill and lathe operations in a machining center. This role produces prototype components and short-run production parts in an independent, machinist-led cell, using Mastercam or other CAM software and offering a four-day, 10-hour work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and tend CNC machining equipment.
  • Perform CNC milling and turning operations.
  • Program machines from customer drawings using Mastercam or CAM software.
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Select appropriate tooling to complete parts.
  • Inspect parts using precision measurement and inspection equipment.
  • Maintain clean equipment, tools, and work areas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of CNC machining experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with CNC milling and turning.
  • G-code programming experience.
  • Blueprint reading proficiency.
  • Knowledge of cutting tool selection.
  • Experience with precision measurement.
  • Strong attention to detail.
