About the PositionOur client is seeking CDL A Truck Drivers for local delivery operations in Charlotte. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and flexible full-time and part-time opportunities.
Pay & Schedule- Pay: $23-$27 per hour, plus overtime
- Schedule: Flexible to dedicated assignments
- Employment type: Long-term flexible
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Home daily
- Route type: Local delivery
- Freight: Touch freight
- Handling: Light touch freight handling required
- Work setting: On-site
- Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes.
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and applicable safety standards.
- Perform required freight-handling tasks, including touch freight.
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- No endorsements required.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
