Micron Products is looking for an experienced Injection Molding Operator to step into a hands-on 3rd Shift Lead role. Previous Lead experience is not required. We're looking for someone who knows injection molding, works well with others, and is ready for an opportunity to grow into leadership.

You'll still work hands-on with injection molding equipment while helping coordinate the team, train operators, monitor production and quality, and serve as a resource on the production floor.

Work hands-on alongside Injection Molding Operators

Help coordinate employees and production priorities throughout the shift

Provide day-to-day direction and support to molding and assembly employees

Train and mentor new and existing operators

Monitor production, quality, scrap, and downtime

Recognize molding defects and production issues and escalate technical problems when needed

Ensure inspections and production documentation are completed

Communicate production issues and priorities during shift handoffs

Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized production environment

Qualifications

You could be a great fit if you have:

2+ years of hands-on plastic injection molding experience

Experience operating injection molding machines in a production environment

Knowledge of common molding defects and production issues

Experience performing inspections and completing production documentation

Strong communication and teamwork skills

An interest in training, mentoring, and helping other employees succeed

Previous Lead experience is NOT required.

Experience as a Senior Molding Operator, Lead Operator, Trainer, or experienced Injection Molding Operator is a plus.

Medical device manufacturing, ISO 13485, GDP/cGDP, and IQMS/DELMIAWorks experience are also helpful, but not required.
