Job: General Labourer - Landscaping
Location: Thunder Bay, ON (Highway 61)
Pay: $20.00 per hour to $24.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Description
We are looking for reliable General Labourers to join an established landscaping crew in Thunder Bay. The role involves assisting with sod installation and general landscaping work at various job sites.
No machine operation is required. This is a hands-on outdoor position suited for someone who is comfortable with physical work and working as part of a crew.
Responsibilities
Assist with laying and installing sod
Prepare and level areas for landscaping work
Move and position sod, soil, and other materials
Assist the landscaping crew with general site work
Load, unload, and organize landscaping materials
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Perform other general landscaping and labour duties as required
Requirements
Previous landscaping, construction, or general labour experience is an asset
Comfortable performing physically demanding outdoor work
Able to lift and move materials as required
Reliable and punctual
Good ability to work as part of a team
Valid WHMIS certificate required
Ontario Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps certificate required
Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
