Steel Fabrication Shop Accounting Professional

• Must have prior experience with Desktop QuickBooks and QuickBooks online payroll
• Ability to multi-task and follow-up with deadlines
• AIA billing, lien waivers, accounts payable, receivable and collections.
• Accounts Receivable and cash activity posting, light cash management
• Navigate computer programs with ease and has the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Understand policies and maintain accurate records required by compliance
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Knowledge of construction accounting practices and procedures
• Understanding of tax laws and regulations related to the construction industry
• Work with CPA on a monthly basis
• Manage three sets of QuickBooks for related businesses
• Asset tracking
• Types and files various correspondences and other documentation as required
• Construction experience a plus
