Journeyman Electrician - Commercial

We are seeking a Licensed Journeyperson to join our expanding Commercial team. In our Commercial division, we are seeking an experienced Journeyperson in the Bayfield, CO area who can start on a recently started project. We project this project to last 12-14 months. You will lead installations, run work, and mentor Apprentices at both entry and experienced levels. We strongly believe in education and expect you to support the growth of the Apprentices on your crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial facilities.
• Run conduit, pull cable, terminate, and direct Apprentices doing the same.
• Install and program lighting and lighting controls.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and complete repairs to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with other trades to keep the project on schedule.
• Train and mentor Apprentices at both entry and experienced levels.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety standards at all times.
• Focus on safety, quality, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Commercial Journeyperson.
• Colorado Journeyman Electrician License.
• Strong understanding of electrical concepts, blueprints, circuitry, and the NEC.
• Ability to lead a small crew, take direction, and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods in varying temperatures.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Range: $38.00-$40.00/hour plus $50/day Per Diem for those within 50 miles.
