Senior Level Building Inspector

CAA is currently interviewing for a Sr. Building Inspector for one of our client locations in the South Orange County.

What You'll Do:
• Perform senior-level building inspections for residential, commercial, and/or public works projects to verify compliance with approved plans, applicable codes, and client requirements.
• Document inspection results, communicate correction items, and coordinate with contractors, applicants, and client staff.
• Provide practical code interpretation in the field and help resolve construction-related questions.
• Demonstrate the highest quality of customer service to our clients.

Ideal candidates will have:
• Knowledge of building construction methods, inspection procedures, approved plans, specifications, and applicable building codes.
• Ability to communicate correction items clearly and professionally with contractors, applicants, and agency staff.
• Experience in municipal building inspection, construction, plan review, or related building department work.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are a must.
• ICC inspection certification related to the assignment is strongly preferred and may be required by the client.

Pay Range: $40.00-$57.00
