Manufacturing Quality Inspector - 1st Shift - Brookpark/W. Cleveland

A well-established family-owned company on the west side of Cleveland is searching for a motivated, energetic, knowledgeable Quality Inspectorwho is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with multiple responsibilities.

Must be able to:

• Read and analyze customer industrial mechanical blueprints and interpret AS 9100 D / ISO 9001:2015 Quality System Standards.
• Use visual inspecting equipment (e.g., comparator, calipers, micrometers) with knowledge and understanding of these measuring tools.
• Effectively communicate in written and verbal forms with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to coordinate, facilitate and understand the preparation of customer documentation as directed.

The ideal candidate would have experience:

• Inspecting springs, wire forms, assemblies and skilled at debugging spring -making set-ups.
• With various computer software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) and spring force scale set-up.
• In the preparation of PPAPs, FAIRs, SPC, MSA, familiar with AS9100 and able to hit the ground running.
