Industrial Electrician, Mississauga

4 DAY WORK WEEK, MONDAY - THURSDAY, 7:00 A.M. - 5:30 P.M.
MUST HAVE PRIOR METAL STAMPING/FABRICATION INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE.
QUALIFICATIONS: Certificate of Qualification required, plus 5 years' experience in metal stamping industry.
Responsibilities:
Install, examine, replace test, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electric wiring, fixture, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, control devices and other electrical components
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications and schematics in order to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical equipment
Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
Maintain, repair, install and test switch gear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, etc
Repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical/electronic control systems and other related devices
Direct and train other workers and apprentices to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
Conduct preventive maintenance programs through inspection of electric systems and keep maintenance records
Work well as a team member in all situations
Programming PLC
Ensure all work performed adheres to all relevant organizational, provincial and federal safety regulations, codes and specifications
Follow quality management systems policy, procedures and work instructions manuals as per ISO requirements
