Industrial Electrician - Days - Scarborough

Electrician
- permanent position DAY SHIFT up to $44/hr to start dep. on exper.
Monday to Friday (6:00am to 2:30pm)
LOCATION: Scarborough, Ontario
Qualifications:
Industrial Electrician (422A) OR Construction & Maintenance (309A) license
3 yrs+ experience in electrical wiring in a manufacturing environment
Able to read electrical drawings
Knowledge of installations, troubleshooting, documentation, Canadian Electrical Code
Experience with reading blueprints / electrical drawings (2D)
Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, MS Office
Able to lift up to 30 lbs
Good communication and interpersonal skills required
Strong safety orientation and ability to follow proper safety procedures (i.e Lock-Out / Tag-Out, etc.) with a do it right the first time mentality
Self-sufficient and team oriented
Willing and able to work assigned shift
Duties:
Wire control panels and industrial equipment with minimum direction
Correctly interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings
Repairs and troubleshooting
Complying with all safety regulations and work in a safe manner
Working in a team environment
Being professional and punctual
