THE POSITION:

  • The Electrician performs routine installations, repairs, and maintenance of all electrical systems throughout the production facility to ensure compliance with local and federal codes


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of 3 years of full-time electrical experience

Strong electrical field knowledge, including:

  • Conduit bending and wire installation
  • Troubleshooting machine controls
  • Frequency drives
  • Motor starters
  • Relay logic and PLCs
  • Electrical repairs and upgrades as required


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Skilled in the use of tools associated with the electrician's trade
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) systems
  • PLC troubleshooting experience helpful
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Self-directed team player with effective communication skills
  • Willing and able to assist with non-electrical projects as needed
  • Strong safety awareness
  • Basic PC knowledge
