Luxor Staffing is hiring an Industrial Assembler paying up to $25 per hour. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!

Job description

• Assemble industrial pumps and related mechanical components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and measuring equipment.
• Read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and schematics.
• Install bearings, seals, shafts, couplings, valves, and other pump components.
• Measure parts and check tolerances to make sure the assembly meets specifications.
• Perform inspections and basic testing of completed pumps.
• Troubleshoot assembly problems and make adjustments.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow OSHA/company safety and quality procedures.
• Work with other technicians, machinists, welders, and quality personnel.

Requirements you should expect

• Mechanical/industrial assembly experience is usually preferred.
• Experience developing and using their own tools or solutions will be considered a huge plus.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings/blueprints .
• Basic understanding of mechanical components and how they fit together.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move equipment/components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma/GED is commonly preferred.
• Previous pump, rotating-equipment, manufacturing, or oil-and-gas experience can be a strong advantage.
