We are hiring for a nocturnist position. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
Team Collaboration:
- Become part of a team of highly experienced nocturnist hospitalist telemedicine physicians.
- Our physicians are highly experienced, internal medicine-trained, board-certified hospitalists passionate about integrity and delivering high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must have an MD or DO and be board-certified in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM) with at least three years of hospitalist experience.
- Top candidates will have recent hospital medicine experience working with an open ICU.
- Candidates must hold (or be willing to obtain) a minimum of 2 active state medical licenses from the following states: WA, TX, MI, GA. An ideal candidate will also have a Compact/IMLCC letter of qualification (active, not expired).
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills are required.
- Prior experience in telemedicine is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience as a nocturnist hospitalist strongly preferred.
- Preference will be given to candidates with nocturnist experience and a higher number of applicable state medical licenses, including an active letter of qualification from the IMLCC.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
- This position is fully remote, allowing you to work in a virtual environment.
- This is a full time nocturnist opportunity, requiring a minimum of 120 hours per month.
- The schedule is released in advance to help you plan other commitments, with team members providing coverage for each other during absences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complexities of caring for patients in acute environments.
- Engage in cross-coverage cases and admissions via telemedicine to provide continuity of care.
- Be available for overnight shifts.
- Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss practice changes or updates.
- Receive comprehensive training on technology protocols, workflows, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Rewards and Compensation:
- Compensation: $130 per hour.
