Hospitalist Physician

Start Date: September 2, 2026
Length of Assignment: 4 months (expected to extend into 2027)
Schedule: Primarily 24-hour in-house shifts with a required day off after each shift. Additional 12-hour day and night shifts available, with flexibility to convert to 24-hour coverage when possible.
Credentialing: days
Patient Volume: Approximately 1,800 deliveries per year
Procedures: Full-scope OB Hospitalist care including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopy, vacuum/forceps deliveries, breech deliveries, and other obstetric and gynecologic procedures
Setting: Hospital
EMR: Epic
Licence Needed: Montana (will wait for licensure, especially through IMLC)
Certifications: Board Certified, BLS, ACLS

Details:
Hospital-based OB Hospitalist opportunity providing in-house labor and delivery coverage alongside experienced midwives and RNs. Providers will manage a full range of obstetric emergencies and routine deliveries while working restricted (in-house) call shifts in a collaborative team environment. This assignment offers a consistent schedule through the end of 2026 with a strong likelihood of extending into 2027, making it an excellent long-term locums opportunity.
