Hematology/Oncology Physician

Locum Physician - Hematology Oncology Summary: Join a dedicated healthcare team at a leading facility in Pendleton, Oregon, where we are looking for an experienced Hematology/Oncology Board Certified Physician to provide support three days a week for 9-12 months. This outpatient role at St. Anthony Hospital offers an opportunity to lead the chemotherapy program, supported by a trained staff in a well-equipped environment. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct outpatient care in a hospital setting.
• Serve as the chemotherapy program director/provider.
• Perform required procedures, including bone marrow biopsies.
• Conduct 15-18 patient consults per day, with 1-3 consults weekly.
• Utilize EMR systems including ECW (EClinical Works) and Meditech.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years post-residency) - Required.
• Board Certified in Hematology - Highly Preferred.
• Active Oregon Medical License - Highly Preferred; must obtain during credentialing if not currently licensed.
• Completed residency and/or fellowship in relevant specialties - Required.
• Additional certifications including BLS and DEA during credentialing - Required.
• Clean background and malpractice history - Highly Preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must possess a valid and active Oregon license or be eligible for IMLC.
• BLS and DEA certifications required prior to credentialing.
