Job Details:

  • Coverage Type: 24-hour weekend call only

Required Procedure/Duties:

  • Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry
  • Esophageal Manometry Interpretation
  • Small Bowel Biopsy
  • Lower GI Endoscopy
  • Sigmoidoscopy
  • Colonoscopy
  • Liver Biopsy
  • Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube
  • Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
  • Upper GI Endoscopy: with Biopsy, with Foreign Body Removal, with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser), with Injection of Varices, with Banding of Varices, with ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), Diagnostic, Therapeutic, with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • Active FL license only
  • EUS ERCP - required

Other Details:

  • 24-hour call coverage for a high-volume facility.
  • In-house during the day and beeper with a call-back after hours.
  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for four consecutive weekends, with availability upon completion of credentialing.
