We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist for an ongoing outpatient locum tenens opportunity in Maryland. This is an excellent opportunity for a gastroenterologist seeking a predictable Monday Friday schedule, strong procedural volume, and long-term assignment stability in an outpatient-only setting. Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Gastroenterology Fellowship Required
  • Active Maryland License or IMLC
  • ACLS & BLS Certifications Required
Schedule
  • Monday Friday
  • Endoscopy Suite Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • 1-hour unpaid lunch
  • Procedure Times:
    • Upper Endoscopy: 30 minutes
    • Colonoscopy: 30 minutes
    • Combined Procedures: 60 minutes
  • Most procedures performed with moderate sedation

  • Upper GI Endoscopy
    • Biopsy
    • Foreign Body Removal
    • Fulguration of Bleeder (cautery/laser)
  • Colonoscopy
    • Biopsy
    • Polyp Excision
  • Small Bowel Biopsy
  • Lower GI Endoscopy
  • Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
