FOH Team Member (Full-Time) - Gus's Fried Chicken, Austin

Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken in downtown Austin is hiring friendly FOH team members to join our crew. If you're fast, upbeat, and love keeping the front-of-house running smoothly, you'll fit right in. The ideal candidate would have experience in previous roles of Cashier, Server, and Expo and also have open availability. Potential to advance to a management position for the right person.

Schedule: Applicant MUST be available nights and weekends.
Shifts run every day at 9:30am-4:30pm and 3:30pm-11:00pm.:

• We're a busy downtown spot, so speed and consolidation are key.

• No late nights!

• No rolling silverware!

• No tip pool! Tips are paid out nightly in cash.

REQUIREMENTS

• Provide friendly, fast service to guests at the front of house (FOH)
• Follow Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken brand standards and service expectations
• Take accurate food orders and handle payment using POS systems
• Clear and reset tables quickly to maintain a clean dining area
• Re-stock FOH supplies and assist with side work as assigned
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
• Maintain food safety and sanitation practices throughout your shift
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen and other team members to ensure order accuracy
• Stay attentive to guest needs and respond professionally to questions or concerns
• Be punctual and dependable for scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
