About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Safety & Compliance Analyst to support a fast-paced safety and operations team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with safety data, fleet compliance, reporting, Excel dashboards, and operational metrics. You will help maintain safety reporting systems, monitor DOT and OSHA compliance, analyze trends, prepare reports for leadership, and ensure safety documentation is accurate and audit-ready.

We are looking for someone who can take safety and operational data and turn it into clear, accurate, actionable information.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and maintain safety and compliance reporting systems, including Samsara, AirTable, and similar platforms.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc safety reports for management and leadership.
  • Track and report DOT, OSHA, CSA, fleet, driver, and internal safety metrics.
  • Build and maintain Excel reports and dashboards tracking incidents, driver behavior, trends, and safety performance.
  • Review and audit safety data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify trends, recurring issues, and potential areas of risk.
  • Prepare documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
  • Maintain organized compliance records, safety files, reporting logs, and supporting documentation.
  • Partner with Safety and Operations teams to improve reporting processes and overall safety performance.
  • Support the Safety Manager with special projects and department initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience in safety administration, fleet safety, DOT compliance, compliance reporting, transportation operations, or operational analytics.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including experience creating reports, analyzing data, and working with large data sets.
  • Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and/or CSA compliance strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Samsara, AirTable, telematics, fleet management, or similar compliance/reporting systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple reports, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • Associate's degree in Business, Occupational Safety, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.

You should also be comfortable working in a transportation, fleet, logistics, operations, or safety-focused environment where accuracy and compliance matter.

Physical & Travel Requirements

This is primarily an office-based position involving extended periods of sitting and computer work. Occasional standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and travel to company facilities may be required.
