Seeking a full-time Fire System Technician to join our growing team!


Job responsibilities include inspecting and testing fire sprinkler systems including but not limited to wet, dry and pre-action per NFPA standards. Projects include tenant improvements, repair work, and service. Must be able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, working within crawl spaces and confined spaces, working above ceilings, building rooftops, etc.


Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and be able to pass a background check. Must be reliable, dependable, and punctual and have excellent communication skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers. Must be a self-starter that can work with little or no supervision, have strong organizational skills, and a positive attitude.


Skills / Qualifications:


Preferred NICET certification level II (Water based systems)

Minimum 2-years experience conducting Fire Sprinkler inspections

High School Diploma or equivalent GED

Preferred Certificate of Fitness for City of Portland for Sprinkler, Fire Extinguisher and Hood systems.

Preferred State of Oregon / Washington Backflow testing certificate(s).
