Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Physician Assistant at Womack Army Medical Center (Department of Public Health )Fort Bragg, NC. This position offers:• Full-time opportunity, 40 hours per week• Monday -Friday, No Holidays or weekends• Consistent and predictable income• Paid vacation and paid sick leave• Full complement of benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, 401k and more for those working at least 28 hours per week on a consistent basis. Physician Assistant The Position will have the following requirements:Completion of an accredited Masters DegreeNational CertificationAt least 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant in a family or primary care settingActive licenseCurrent DEA registrationCertification in Basic Life Support (BLS)US CitizenKey Duties Include but not limited to:Adheres to the IHSC Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Collaborative Practice and Prescriptive Authority Agreement (CP/PAA).Works as part of an integrated health care team to provide acute, emergent, and chronic health care to patients in compliance with IHSC policy and guidance and accreditation standards as prescribed by ICE/IHSC.Performs comprehensive history and physical evaluations, behavioral health care, and minor outpatient surgical procedures for detainees as required by the medical condition.Demonstrates appropriate application of clinical knowledge within documented treatment plans, prescriptions, and provides treatment throughout the life span as appropriate to discipline and facility setting.Demonstrates appropriate application of clinical knowledge within documented lab/diagnostic ordering and interpretation, medication prescribing practices, referrals to consultants, follow-up after hospitalization or consultation.Participates in and complies with court ordered treatment plans to include evaluation and treatment of patients with psychiatric illness or life-threatening conditions including hunger strike.Provides full spectrum of age and gender specific health care to include treatment of gender dysphoria and pregnancy.For more informaton contact:Michelle Company Overview: At Spectrum, we utilize over thirty-five years of experience providing optimal solutions for federal agencies that are both innovative and cost-effective.
