A well-established employer-sponsored health clinic is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant for a locum assignment in Rock Island, Illinois. This opportunity offers a patient-focused primary care environment with manageable patient volumes and an emphasis on preventive medicine, wellness, and chronic disease management.

Position Highlights

• Employer-based primary care clinic serving employees and dependents (ages 3+)
• Average of patients per day
• Outpatient-only setting
• Focus on preventive care, wellness visits, chronic disease management, and acute care
• Collaborative environment with remote clinical support available
• Athena EMR
• Approximately 37 hours per week
• 2-month assignment beginning August 2026

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
• Wednesday: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM 11:00 AM

Requirements

• Active Illinois Physician Assistant license
• NCCPA Certification
• Active DEA registration
• Current BLS certification
• Recent primary care experience
• Comfortable managing acute illnesses, chronic conditions, wellness visits, and preventive care services
• Experience in family medicine, primary care, occupational health, or urgent care preferred
