We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Physician Assistant to join a newly established employer-sponsored urgent care clinic serving employees of a major Metro Detroit organization.

This is a unique opportunity to help launch a brand-new clinic while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a modern outpatient setting. Your Practice

You ll provide comprehensive urgent and episodic care for employees in a collaborative outpatient setting. Responsibilities include:

Evaluation and treatment of acute illness and injury
Common office procedures including suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, IV therapy, wound care, and EKG interpretation
Point-of-care diagnostics, medication management, and onsite medication dispensing
Occupational health services including drug screening, return-to-work evaluations, and workplace injury management Referral coordination, patient navigation, and virtual care follow-up

You ll practice at the top of your license while working within established evidence-based protocols, with physician consultation readily available when needed.

Qualifications

Required

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Current national certification
Active Michigan NP or PA license (or ability to obtain before start date)
Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain, as applicable)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Occupational Health, or another acute care setting
Procedural competency including suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, IV therapy, and EKG acquisition/interpretation
BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)

Ideal candidates are clinically confident, service-oriented providers who enjoy practicing independently while collaborating within a supportive team environment.

Experience in employer-sponsored healthcare or occupational medicine is welcomed but not required.
