Job Description:

This role involves providing comprehensive primary and urgent care services to adult incarcerated patients in a medium security correctional facility, with occasional exposure to a maximum security medical unit. The Nurse Practitioner will manage a wide range of health concerns, including chronic disease management, acute illness evaluation, medication management, and preventive care. Daily work includes performing exams, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans while collaborating closely with physicians and onsite clinical staff. The patient population presents with diverse medical needs, often requiring careful assessment, clear communication, and sound clinical judgment.
