A well-established employer-sponsored health clinic in Rock Island is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a locum assignment. This is a unique opportunity to practice patient-centered primary care in a low-volume setting focused on prevention, wellness, and long-term health outcomes.

Position Highlights

• Employer-based primary care clinic serving employees and dependents (ages 3+)
• Average of patients per day
• Preventive care, wellness visits, chronic disease management, and acute care
• Collaborative environment with clinical leadership support
• Athena EMR
• Approximately 37 hours per week
• 2-month assignment starting August 2026

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
• Wednesday: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM 11:00 AM

Requirements

• Active Illinois Nurse Practitioner license
• Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• Active DEA registration
• Current BLS certification
• Recent primary care experience
• Comfortable treating acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and performing wellness exams
• Experience with employer health, family practice, urgent care, or primary care settings preferred
