Locums Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity

Looking for your next long-term locums assignment on the beautiful Northern California coast?


We're seeking a Board Certified or truly Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join a clinic in Northern California.


Position Highlights

Location: Northern California (small beach town)

Specialty: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Assignment Length: 3, 6, or 12+ months (long-term preferred)

Compensation: $130/hour + travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage

Schedule

  • Monday Friday
  • 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Approximately 18 patients per day
  • 4 hours/week of dedicated administrative/charting time (can be completed on-site or remotely)

Requirements

  • Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (completed residency within the last 5 years and planning to take boards)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Active California medical license required
  • No General Practitioners (GPs)

Preferred Experience

  • Adolescent and pediatric care
  • Well-woman care
  • Birth control management
  • STD testing
  • Pregnancy testing
  • IUD insertion and removal

Advanced OB, ultrasounds, and high-risk women's health are managed by the Women's Health Clinic.

Additional Details

  • EMR: Epic
  • Credentialing: Approximately 45 days
  • One week of onboarding/orientation
  • Interview expected within days after name clearance
  • One interview followed by an offer
