A well-established employer-sponsored primary care clinic in Rock Island, Illinois is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician for a short-term locum assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to practice relationship-focused medicine with manageable patient volumes and a strong emphasis on preventive care and wellness.
Position Highlights- Primary care clinic serving employees and their dependents (ages 3+)
- Average of just patients per day
- Focus on preventative care, chronic disease management, acute visits, wellness screenings, and health coaching
- Solo provider role with remote clinical support available
- Athena EMR
- 2-month assignment beginning August 2026
- Local providers preferred
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
- Wednesday: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Friday: 6:00 AM 11:00 AM
- Approximately 37 hours per week
- MD or DO
- Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician
- Active Illinois medical license
- Active DEA registration
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of physician experience
- Recent primary care experience within the last 2 years
- Comfortable treating acute illnesses, chronic conditions, minor behavioral health concerns, and performing well-woman exams
