Adecco is currently hiring an Executive Assistant for a temporary contract opportunity in North York, ON. This fully onsite role is ideal for a seasoned administrative professional with experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced corporate environment where professionalism, discretion, and exceptional organizational skills are essential.
In this position, you will provide high-level executive support to the SVP, Governance, Legal and Compliance, who also serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. You will manage complex calendars, coordinate executive and governance-related activities, prepare confidential materials, and serve as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

In this position, you will provide high-level executive support to the SVP, Governance, Legal and Compliance, who also serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. You will manage complex calendars, coordinate executive and governance-related activities, prepare confidential materials, and serve as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
- Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour
- Location: North York, ON 100% Onsite
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 5 days per week onsite
- Employment Type: Full-Time Temporary Contract, August to December 2026 with Possible Extension

- Provide high-level administrative support to the SVP, Governance, Legal and Compliance, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.
- Manage complex executive calendars, appointments, and scheduling requirements.
- Coordinate meetings involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare, draft, edit, and format correspondence, presentations, reports, and confidential documents.
- Coordinate board and corporate governance-related meetings, materials, documentation, and logistics.
- Handle sensitive, privileged, and confidential information with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and associated logistics as required.
- Prepare and process expense reports and related administrative documentation.
- Liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders, including members of senior leadership.
- Monitor competing priorities and ensure important deadlines, meetings, and deliverables are effectively coordinated.
- Provide administrative and organizational support for special projects and executive-level initiatives.
- Work independently to anticipate executive needs and address administrative requirements in a timely manner.
- Provide additional executive and administrative support as required.
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior executives, C-suite leaders, or equivalent senior leadership.
- Experience supporting executives within legal, governance, or corporate environments is preferred.
- Previous experience within a large, complex organization is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce polished, accurate executive-level documentation.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and anticipate executive needs.
- Ability to adapt quickly and remain effective in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Gain valuable experience supporting senior executive leadership at the highest levels of an organization.
- Work directly with the SVP, Governance, Legal and Compliance, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.
- Gain exposure to legal, governance, compliance, and corporate secretary functions.
- Competitive pay rate of $35.00 per hour.
- Contract opportunity from August to December 2026 with the possibility of extension.
