Brilliance Learning Academy is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced English Tutor to join our learning academy in Toronto. The successful candidate will work with children and help them strengthen their English language skills, improve academic performance, and develop confidence in reading, writing, grammar, and communication.
This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who enjoys working with children and is passionate about creating a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide individualized and small-group English instruction to students.
2. Assess students' learning needs and adapt instruction accordingly.
3. Support students in developing reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and communication skills.
4. Prepare engaging and age-appropriate lessons and learning activities.
5. Help students complete schoolwork, assignments, and prepare for assessments when required.
6. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
7. Encourage students to develop confidence, independence, and positive learning habits.
8. Maintain a welcoming, respectful, and supportive classroom environment.
9. Communicate professionally with parents/guardians regarding student progress when required.
10. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
11. Collaborate with the learning centre team to support students' overall academic development.
