Journeyman Electrician: Up to $66.33/hr

Apprentice Electrician: Up to $36.49/hr (Must have over 2,000 documented hours)Join One of Colorado's Largest Battery Energy Storage Projects

We're seeking licensed Colorado Electricians to support a large-scale 200+ MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Fort Morgan, CO. This is an opportunity to work on a high-profile renewable energy initiative while earning prevailing wage compensation, gaining experience with cutting-edge power infrastructure, and contributing to the future of energy storage.

Schedule: Full-time with overtime opportunities

Project Duration: Long-term project work

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems on a large utility-scale BESS project.
  • Perform cable, panel, and equipment terminations in accordance with project specifications and electrical codes.
  • Install underground electrical systems, including conduit, raceways, cable, and related infrastructure.
  • Bend, route, and install conduit using hand and power tools.
  • Pull, terminate, and test electrical wiring and cabling for industrial power systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, one-line diagrams, and construction drawings.
  • Conduct quality inspections and ensure all work meets NEC standards and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams, supervisors, and other trades to maintain production schedules.
  • Follow all site-specific safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Assist with startup, commissioning, and system verification activities as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Colorado Electrical License (Journeyman or equivalent required).
  • Experience on industrial, energy, power generation, oil & gas, or large commercial construction projects.
  • Strong experience with conduit installation and conduit bending.
  • Proven ability to complete large-scale electrical terminations safely and accurately.
  • Experience with underground electrical installations.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and construction documents.
  • Strong understanding of NEC requirements and construction site safety practices.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), solar, substation, or renewable energy project experience.
  • Experience working on utility-scale power, data center, or power generation facilities.
  • Familiarity with testing and commissioning procedures.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

This position is based on an active construction site in Fort Morgan, CO. Work is performed primarily outdoors and may involve exposure to various weather conditions, trench work, ladders, elevated work areas, and proximity to heavy equipment. Required PPE includes hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility clothing, gloves, and steel-toed boots.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66.33 - $66.33/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
