Electrical Assembler
Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Assembler to support the production of custom-built fixtures and display systems in a manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for recent technical school graduates or candidates with at least one year of manufacturing assembly experience who are interested in developing skills in electrical and mechanical assembly.
Responsibilities
Perform assembly of shelving systems, display fixtures, overhead canopies, bases, control boxes, and related components
Complete electrical pre-assembly work to support final wiring and installation activities
Assist with rough wiring of junction boxes and fixture assemblies following work instructions and drawings
Support electrical technicians with preparation, layout, and assembly tasks
Assist mechanical assemblers and fabrication personnel as production needs require
Follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and production schedules to complete assigned work accurately
Organize and maintain inventory of assembly supplies, hardware, and materials
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and conformance to specifications
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Support additional production and assembly activities as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Pennco Tech graduates are encouraged to apply
Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, production, or related experience preferred
Interest in electrical and mechanical assembly work
Ability to use common hand and power tools
Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and measurements
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform assembly work throughout the shift
