Director of Operations at APEX Fabrication

Lead operational excellence at APEX Fabrication & Supply Ltd. as the Director of Procurement & APEX Operations. Drive strategic procurement initiatives across the fire protection industry for optimized efficiency and cost-effectiveness. In this senior leadership position, you will oversee APEX's operations while managing procurement activities for Classic Fire + Life Safety. Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for manufacturing, quality assurance, and supplier relationships, demanding expertise in operational leadership and strategic sourcing. Your impact will ensure high standards and effective purchasing practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities: • Provide executive oversight of fabrication, warehouse, and delivery operations • Own P&L, and develop annual budgets with performance analysis • Ensure compliance with quality standards and lead corrective action • Champion a zero-incident safety culture and enforce policies • Negotiate national supply agreements and manage supplier relationships Requirements: • 8-13 years of leadership in fire protection or industrial contracting • Proven strategic sourcing and contract negotiation experience • Deep ERP systems knowledge in procurement and inventory • Experience in managing a fabrication shop with P&L accountability • Knowledge of fire protection materials strongly preferred Bring your operational leadership and strategic sourcing expertise to enhance APEX's efficiency and compliance in the fire protection sector.
