Deburr Technician is responsible for deburring and finishing precision-machined parts by removing burrs, breaking edges, cleaning parts, removing contamination, and using various hand tools and equipment. Will also assists with the inspection, final preparation, labeling, and packaging of finished products for shipment. Must consistently follow customer drawings, specifications, work instructions, travelers, and established quality standards to ensure finished products meet customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment
  • Experience deburring, finishing, cleaning, or inspecting machined parts
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, travelers, and work instructions
  • Experience using hand tools such as:
    • Files
    • Scrapers
    • X-Acto/swivel blades
    • Countersinks
    • Chamfering tools
  • Experience with Dremel tools, drill presses, tumblers, ultrasonic cleaners, or air blasters
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience performing visual inspection of precision parts
  • Ability to identify burrs, sharp edges, contamination, damage, and foreign objects
  • Packaging, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment
  • Ability to follow detailed quality and customer specifications
