Cook (Japanese Cuisine)

Sushi Koon is located at 49 St., Red Deer, AB T4N 1V1. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Cook (Japanese Cuisine). If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail or mail.

Position: Cook (Japanese Cuisine)
Wage: CAD$17.50/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evening, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay

Job Duties:
Prepare and cook a variety of Japanese dishes, including u-don, donburi, teriyaki, tempura, maki, rolls, and other menu items;
Maintain inventory and records of food;
Oversee kitchen operation;
Train kitchen staff.

Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school;
Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience required.
Skills demonstration may be required.
