Controls Engineer

Job description:

In this role the Controls Engineer will develop point-to-point wiring schematics and electrical/electronic component specifications with oversight of fabricationDrive electrical and software/firmware system requirements and design.

Qualifications:

Required experience & education:

• Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering degree
• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming per IEC 61131-3
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft, C# .NET Application Development
• Control system installation, commissioning, and startup motion control systems, including rotary and linear servo motors
• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE WORK

Preferred Experience:

• Custom control algorithm development and implementation
• Experience with electronic systems at the circuit board level
• Experience with programming embedded systems
