Commercial Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Commercial Electrician to join our construction team in Davenport, FL. The ideal candidate has strong commercial electrical experience, understands electrical codes and safety requirements, and can work efficiently both independently and as part of a crew.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings and construction projects.
• Install conduit, wiring, panels, disconnects, fixtures, and electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, plans, and schematics.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and diagnose problems.
• Pull and terminate wire and make electrical connections.
• Assist with equipment installations and start-ups.
• Ensure all work is completed according to applicable electrical codes and project specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company and job-site safety procedures.
• Coordinate with other trades and construction personnel.
• Complete additional electrical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and construction practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Familiarity with NEC requirements and electrical safety procedures.
• Experience with conduit installation, wire pulling, and terminations.
• Ability to use common electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Ability to work in an active construction environment.
• Must be able to lift, climb, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Electrical license or applicable certification is a plus.
