The Commercial Electrical Journeyman is responsible for executing electrical installation and maintenance tasks in commercial settings. Working primarily within small teams and reporting to a Project Manager, this role demands proficiency in interpreting blueprints, adhering to electrical codes, and ensuring overall safety compliance. Frequent travel to multiple job sites will be required, using standard hand tools and meters to troubleshoot and test electrical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installations in commercial buildings
  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
  • Conduct equipment testing and inspections
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes
  • Install wiring and cabling systems
  • Coordinate with team members to complete projects efficiently
  • Interact professionally with customers on site

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial electrical work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Electrical Journeyman License
