The Opportunity:

The Commercial Driver position will be at the Harrison Arkansas Warehouse and serve as the secondary driver. When needed, the commercial driver will drive the company tractor and trailer to deliver products to our customers. Driver routes will typically be 4-10 stops per route, will require the driver to unload via lift gate with pallet jack, and transport/place palletized product inside the customers' location. How you will impact Packaging Solutions Smurfit Westrock :
  • Primarily assist with warehouse operator duties and responsibilities by transferring materials, unloading, processing, loading and storage areas.
  • Move outgoing products using hand trucks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment, in accordance with all safety policies, to loading dock.
  • Perform Commercial Driver duties when necessary
  • Receive, sort and place incoming products in appropriate warehouse location.
  • Record amounts of material shipped or received in Victory computer system.
  • Mark materials and product with Victory inventory codes.
  • Always organize the warehouse for cleanliness and safety.
  • Sweep, mop and perform other routine maintenance.
  • Safely operates tractor and trailer for the delivery of products and materials.
  • Perform vehicle inspections as required.
  • Operate mobile apps on phone for ELD and proof of delivery.
  • Provide outstanding customer service during delivery.
  • Follow all safety rules for equipment and material handling as required by DOT, OSHA and Company safety program.
  • Ensure all orders are delivered in good condition and in full as per the bill of lading.
  • Communicate effectively with operations staff about customer concerns.
  • Utilize material handling equipment, such hand trucks.


What you need to succeed:
  • Forklift experience and certification
  • Current CDL Class A license
  • One or more years' experience as a warehouse operator preferred.
  • No preventable motor vehicle violations within last 12 months
  • Current medical certification card.
  • One or more years' experience driving a tractor trailer.
  • General fluency in English required, verbal and written
  • Basic computer literacy preferred
