Class A CDL Driver OTR

We are seeking a skilled A Class licensed CDL Truck Driver to join our transportation team transporting automobiles in the Southeast region. 25% percent of the gross per load . Paid weekly! ($800-$1400). As a CDL Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles to designated destinations. We will provide the truck and trailer . Your role will play a crucial part in ensuring the timely delivery of products and contributing to our company's reputation for reliability. Key Responsibilities

1. Transport & Delivery Operations

• Safely operate and transport vehicles using a 5-car Kaufman trailer to and from dealerships, auctions, ports, and other designated locations.
• Plan efficient delivery routes while actively monitoring weather and road conditions to ensure safe and timely arrival.
• Efficiently maneuver and park in high-traffic areas, public roads, and tight, confined spaces during loading/unloading.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules, traffic delays, or vehicle breakdowns.

2. Loading, Securing & Cargo Inspection

• Safely load, position, and unload vehicles onto transport trailers following all safety guidelines.
• Properly tie down and secure vehicles to prevent damage during transit.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of both the transport rig and cargo.
• ocument pre-existing or new damage using high-resolution photographic evidence to ensure accurate condition reporting.
• Maintain precise delivery records and Bill of Lading (BOL) documentation to ensure 100% accuracy.

3. Compliance & Maintenance

• Strictly adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and FMCSA requirements.
• Ensure Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and onboard camera systems are fully operational and synchronized at all times.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and daily inspection checks on transport equipment.
• Maintain strict standards of cleanliness for all assigned equipment, including the tractor, trailer, and securement tools.

Licensing & Credentials

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.

• Active TWIC badge (or ability to acquire one within a designated timeframe).

• Certification in vehicle transport or related industry credentials preferred.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Auto Hauler / Car Hauler operating multi-car transport trailers.

• Familiarity with various vehicle makes, models, and transport equipment.

Technical & Physical

• Proficiency with GPS, routing software, and electronic logging systems.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Physical ability to handle the physical demands of loading, securing, and climbing transport equipment.

General Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Must pass background checks and drug screenings.

• Ability to remain professional and level-headed during facility delays or stressful situations.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
