Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

We are seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a locum opportunity at a large academic medical center in Missouri. This assignment offers a predictable 4x10 schedule, no call, medically directed practice, and exposure to a diverse surgical case mix.

Assignment Details

• 3 CRNA positions available
• Start: October 12, 2026
• 10-week assignment
• No call

Schedule

• Monday Friday
• 4x10 schedule
• Shift start times between 7:00 AM 10:00 AM
• Rotating weekday off
• Schedule released approximately 2 months in advance

Practice Setting

• Academic Medical Center
• Anesthesia Department
• 316-bed hospital
• Medically directed practice
• Epic EMR

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for adult surgical patients
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff
• Deliver anesthesia services across a wide variety of surgical specialties
• Document patient care using Epic

Case Mix

• General Surgery
• Orthopedic Surgery
• Neurosurgery
• Trauma
• Obstetrics
• Cardiac Surgery

Team Structure

• Anesthesiologists
• Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs)
• Surgeons
• Perioperative nursing staff

Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• NBCRNA certification required
• Active Missouri license required
• BLS & ACLS required
• Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience
• Level I Trauma experience required (no exceptions)
• Epic experience required

Credentialing

• Approximately 90-day credentialing timeframe
• Temporary privileges available for clean files
