• Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Chicago, IL 60612 - a vibrant, centrally located area with easy access to the city's rich culture, dining, and professional energy
• Setting: Hospital Anesthesia Department
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,790 - $8,210
• Contract Length: 26 weeks
• Start Date: November 2026
• Shift Options: 3 x 12-hour shifts or 4 x 10-hour shifts
• Shift Duration: 10-hour and 12-hour shifts available
• Hours: 40 hours per week

CRNA Job Requirements

• Current CRNA certification and active license eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience in a hospital or clinical anesthesia setting
• At least 2 years of strong Epic EMR experience
• Active BLS certification required
• Proficiency with MAC anesthesia and general anesthesia
• Comfort working in a supervised anesthesia practice model
• Adult patient experience required; pediatric and neuro exposure is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for adult patients in a busy Chicago hospital
• Administer MAC and general anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures
• Collaborate closely with supervising anesthesiologists and the anesthesia care team
• Document accurately and efficiently in Epic EMR
• Support a high-volume surgical environment with professionalism and attention to detail
• Maintain clear communication with the care team to promote excellent patient outcomes
