As a Phlebotomist in a clinic setting, you will play a vital role in patient care through efficient and accurate blood collection and specimen handling. Working primarily as an individual contributor during day shifts, your responsibilities will include patient interaction, sample labeling, and maintaining data accuracy, all while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples accurately and safely
- Label specimens and verify patient identification
- Handle and prepare samples for laboratory processing
- Enter patient and sample data into relevant systems
- Interact professionally with patients, assisting with rooming and taking vital signs
- Administer injections as required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in phlebotomy
Preferred Qualifications
- Phlebotomy Certification
Medical Office is located in Orlando, Florida area. Second office is in Celebration. You will rotate between the 2 offices.Position is Monday to Friday 9 to 5.
