CDL Class B driver

Job description:

Our client is seeking a motivated and dependable CDL B Driver to join their dynamic transportation team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods across designated local routes (NJ, NY, and PA)

Monday through Fridays 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with potential O.T.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 26-foot truck / GVW of at least 26,000 pounds
• Execute route driving with precision to ensure the timely delivery of freight
• Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays/issues.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Requirements:

• A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) CLASS B is required
• Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving
• Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities and best practices
• Knowledge of loading and unloading procedures
• Previous experience with manual transmission vehicles is a plus
• Experience working with a pallet jack and or Forklift strongly preferred
