About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for a local touch-freight opportunity in Taylor, Michigan. This role offers consistent Monday-through-Friday work, home-daily opportunities, and a dedicated support team through TransForce.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $26 per hour
• Estimated weekly pay: $1,040
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with no weekends
• Start time: Between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
• Hours per week: 40
• Overnight schedule: One overnight stay per week on Mondays
• Hotel accommodations provided for the Monday overnight stay
• $40 per diem for the overnight stay

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate an automatic tractor-trailer on assigned routes.
• Deliver palletized pet food and supplies to veterinary clinics and local pet stores.
• Load, unload, and move freight using hand carts, pallet jacks, and lift gates.
• Maintain safe and professional delivery practices.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Steel-toed boots preferred.
